About Me

My talks are packed full of information about these beautiful birds and I use live owls rather than slide shows. Each owl is flown and some of the children will get the chance to have the bird land on their gloved hand. Visits are aimed at Foundation, Key Stage 1 and 2, and fit nicely around books like ‘The Owl Babies’, ‘The Owl who was afraid of the dark’ and ‘The Gruffalo’ as well as other leading titles. Other topics covered are ‘Night and Day’, ‘Light and Dark’, ‘Nocturnal Animals’ and ‘Animal Habitats’.
